On 5th Nov 2023, Samarpan Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, Lucknow conducted its annual 'Lamp Lighting and Oath Taking Ceremony' for the new students who have joined the courses of ANM, GNM, and B.Sc Nursing this year. The beautiful ceremony celebrates the icon and inspiration - Florence Nightingale, who is known as the founder of modern nursing. The lamp lighting ceremony formally declares the students' initiation into the noble profession of nursing.
This year, we were privileged to have among us our Chief Guest - Dr. Sanjeev Misra, Vice Chancellor, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow. Our Guest of Honour, Dr. Ashok Kumar Bishnoi, Professor & dean, Nursing, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University graced the occasion. Prof. HCL Rawat, Era College of Nursing and Col. V. Sugirtha, Principal CON CH (CC) were our special guests. Our Chairman, Prof. (Dr.) R. S. Dubey, Principal Mam, Prof. Dipti Shukla and Chief Advisor, Prof. (Dr.) Namrata P. Awasthi graced also addressed the students.
