After the rejuvenation of the health and medical system, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has now started ‘Mission Niramaya’ for the comprehensive reform of the nursing and paramedical sector. While formally launching the new campaign in the premises of SGPGI Lucknow, the Chief Minister termed nursing and paramedical as the backbone of the medical system and said that in the 90s, if the IT sector was considered to be the prime of career, then in today’s era. Nursing and Paramedical field is full of great opportunities. This is a field which is always needed from birth till death. Not only this, for women, this sector is a great example of security, respect and self-reliance.

The Chief Minister said that for the progress of any civilized society, strengthening of health and education system is most important. But for decades these areas were kept neglected. A field like nursing, without which better medicine would not have been possible, did not try to improve it over time. But now under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is starting ‘Mission Niramaya’ for multidimensional reforms in this most important area. He said that while this mission would be helpful in the growth of institutions and seats in the state, necessary efforts would be made for the employment of youth after improving the quality and training of institutions. Congratulating the Medical Education Department for Mission Niramaya, the Chief Minister said that in the first phase of the mission, our target would be to make the number of nursing and paramedical staff at national standards, while in the next phase it would be made according to the standards of the World Health Organization. After the training on the special occasion, MoU was also signed between 05 training institutes and 05 reputed hospitals for the employment of youth.
